President :: Mark Meeks
Mark Meeks was born in Burbank California and is a proud Citizen of the Chickasaw Nation headquartered in Ada Okalahoma. Mark began his career at Hughes Aircraft Company Micro Electronics Division in Newport Beach, CA. In the early 1980’s Mark lead the marketing effort that developed and sold the Industry first Custom Semiconductor Gate Array (ASIC) to Hughes Missile Systems & Radar Systems Group. In 1989 Mark left Hughes Aircraft to launch the Custom Foundry Semiconductor Group at Toshiba America in Irvine, CA, supporting customers Dell, Compaq, and Hayes Modems. In 1991, Mark accepted a new position managing the Advanced Memory Architecture Department in the Toshiba DRAM Group. Mark championed the Co-Development initiative with Rambus Technology and managed the RAMBUS partnership.
As the USB interface standard exploded onto the market and the computer companies adopted it onto their computing platforms, in 1997 Mark accepted the National Sales Manager position at CMD Technology. CMD was at the forefront of USB Host Controller Semiconductor development as well as PCI to IDE Controllers supporting the storage market. While at CMD, Mark worked with major PC companies (HP & IBM) as well as multi-national accounts (Phillips Belgium set-top box).
Looking for an opportunity to utilize his broad range of Semiconductor Sales and Marketing experience, Mark accepted a position at a start up company JMAR Semiconductor as the Director of Sales & Marketing. Mark developed an International Rep infrastructure, defined key elements to the product roadmap and shared responsibility to the sales effort of the JMAR Military legacy Fab located at McCullen Air force base in Sacramento.
Mark has been married for 20 years and lives with his family in Mission Viejo, California.
